Airlie Primary School enjoys a beautiful rural setting on the boundary of Angus Council. The school attracts pupils from the catchment area as well as the surrounding areas such as Alyth, Meigle and Coupar Angus. The school offers an excellent educational environment with facilities that include a well-maintained building, extensive, secure school grounds incorporating a nature conservation and woodland area, generous playing field, garden area and playground.

The school building was renovated and a new extension was erected in 2009 and this has been beneficial to the children. We have three clearly defined classroom spaces, a well equipped gym/lunch hall, library and computer suite. We have gained an excellent reputation in the local community and beyond.

We recognise the importance of the role of the school in the community in creating a partnership between children, the parents, the staff and the residents of Airlie and surrounding areas. We endeavour to provide a happy, caring and secure environment in which the provision of a quality programme of educational experiences enables each child to achieve his or her potential.

We hope this website will provide some idea of what we hope to achieve and invite you to come and see for yourself.
